Digital is face-to-face. Digital is personal. Digital is experiential. Digital is integrated. Digital is collaborative. Why, then, do we typically focus on applying traditional giving models to digital? Why do we focus on technology and optimising payment processes rather than influencing behaviours? This session will explore where traditional community fundraising meets the digital age. Looking at consumer psychology, we will argue for a third pillar to our fundraising programmes to complement Individual and Corporate Giving.
Our speakers will be:
Is digital fundraising a money making machine or a waste of time? Is opening up fundraising to the wisdom of crowds opening up an untapped market or opening us up to chaos? In true crowdsourcing style we’re keen to hear your views and questions so we can tailor the session around you. Whatever your opinions and questions, we want them. Just drop your thoughts into the comments box below or share them on Twitter with #smwgood. Book your complimentary place now.
