Taking on the Goliaths

Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL) had low awareness in the education sector. Faced with strong competition from the giants – NUT and NASUWT – their communications weren’t cutting through.

ATL is the smallest teaching union. But they’re also the fastest growing, and their unique approach means they have much to offer potential members. This rebrand brought their personality to the fore.

What's good about it?

The brand refresh and new recruitment campaign led to a 44% increase in membership among NQT’s (Newly Qualified Teachers) and a 23% increase in student membership.
