Haunting images

The Good Agency PR team is working with artist Angela Palmer on her Ghost Forest installation which is planned for a central space in London in November this year.
Ghost Forest is a visual statement about climate change, specifically the removal of the world’s ‘lungs’ through continued rainforest deforestation. Several huge tree stumps, with their buttress roots, from a logged tropical forest in Ghana will create stark images, with the negative space, that is the space which these trees once inhabited, the focal point of the piece. At night, green laser lights will give observers a sense of the sheer scale of majestic rainforest trees and the tragedy of their destruction.
While Angela works on the logistics for the transport of the tree stumps from Ghana, the project team is working on getting sponsorship for an artwork designed to bring home the impact of deforestation to Londoners and the wider world.
