The Good Agency’s PR client AHEC (American Hardwood Export Council) is collaborating with leading design company Established & Sons on a project for this year’s London design Festival. The project, which will be unveiled at the start of the Festival in September, uses recycled American tulipwood taken from the ‘walled settlement’ installation created to show Established & Sons’ fifth furniture collection at the 2009 Milan Furniture Fair. Established & Sons’ Design development Director Sebastian Wrong and designer Richard Woods are creating a seating installation for the entrance foyer of the V&A Museum in London, using Wood’s signature decorative paint finish. This is the second year for AHEC and for American tulipwood at the London Design Festival. Last year architect David Adjaye’s stunning ‘Sclera’ pavilion attracted thousands of visitors during its time outside the Royal festival Hall on London’s South Bank.
