Good Bites has returned this Summer and Big Appeals were first on our agenda. Annie Moreton, Head of Individual Giving at Save the Children, and Craig Linton, Head of Fundraising at RLSB, joined us to talk about how they made their Big Appeals work over breakfast last Thursday.
The session looked at the potential, the pitfalls and the practicalities of Big Appeals. We shared a little bit about our Big Dig with WaterAid, before hearing from two charities who have made Big Appeals work. And we mean really work. We talked about when they’re right and when they’re not. And looked at the potential for stretching Big Appeal messaging into legacy, regular giving and more. Here’s what our agenda looked like:
