Age International has launched its website, designed and built by The Good Agency.  Age International is a new charity focusing on older people in developing countries.  It is part of the Age UK family, part of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) and a member of the HelpAge global network.

The website can be viewed at www.ageinternational.org.uk.

Fundraising and campaigning communication specialists, The Good Agency, has worked with Age International to design, build and launch the website specifically designed to help support the charity’s fundraising ambitions, driving higher conversion of supporters to its Sponsor a Grandparent and Raise a Grandchild propositions. In addition, the site will raise the new charity’s profile and help it establish credibility and trust.

The site has been fully optimised for fundraising, with defined donor journeys and using best-of-breed payment providers to ensure an integrated and seamless supporter experience, which can be continually analysed and optimised. In addition, the site has many opportunities for data capture to help the charity build a database of prospects. Age International and The Good Agency also worked together to overhaul the charity’s messaging to ensure it was as need-led and supporter focused as possible.

Chris Roles, Director, Age International says:

“We’re delighted; the outstanding work on the Age International website means we now have a platform to deliver our international ambitions. It was a huge amount of work to pack in to a very short timescale and The Good Agency has delivered a fabulous looking website for us, whilst maintaining enthusiasm and being a pleasure to work with.”

Charlotte Beckett, Head of Digital, The Good Agency adds:

“This project has been a case study in true collaboration. We all share the ambitions for this to become a sector leading site. And the understanding that these things are best done iteratively. We are thoroughly enjoying partnering with Age International, are proud of what’s been achieved so far, and excited about the challenges the future holds.”

The initial site, launched to a tight schedule, will be developed over the next six months, to increase scope for campaigning, a retention area, e-commerce and other digital fundraising programmes.
